hey guys, after i got back from my holiday the wireless network that i used is now gone, i was wondering if anyone can help me get it back up again, i have called telstra and they said they couldn't help me because the modem is fine and the problem is with the router, i have a netgear Wgr614b2 router, the guy who set up my wireless network is on holiday ( dam!!!!) so can anyone help me please?

Usually wireless is extremely easy since the modem and routers are one now, but anyway...

Make sure the modem is plugged in to the phone line, have an ethernet cable running from the modem to the WAN port on the Netgear. Press the reset button on the Netgear and the setting should reset then reconfigure. Try this, if it doesn't work, let us know.

If it was working before you went on holidays then I can not see how the set-up could be changed, unless you had someone screwing up your settings.
Try turning off the router, modem and PC for at least 30 seconds, then turn on the modem and after a minute or two turn on the router and after a further 2 minutes turn on the PC.... That fixes up my Netgear wireless.
