Young is one thing but history tells you they weren’t all young and talented. We had a core of elite youth of Reid Sidebottom Swan Pendlebury Shaw and Thomas and arguably Beams (who wasn’t really in that catergory until a bit later)

The rest of our young kids proved to be in the right place at the right time and in combination with some short term fixes got the job done.

It doesn’t take much to turn the ship around but they have to get the offseason right.

Getting the offseason right in order to legitimately contend will mean acquiring a quality KPF and a gun mid.
And our only decent currency are Jordy and Treloar but losing them will be counterproductive.

Miracles do happen but right now we're a lot closer to dropping out of the eight than beating Geelong in next year's prelim by 40 points.
