Market update
East Brighton 4/7 chance to win the flag

St.Pauls 6/4 chance to win the flag

St Kilda City 9/4 chance to win the flag

Chelsea Heights 10/1 chance to win the flag

Cheltenham 33/1 chance to win the flag

Not putting Chelt down as they are a worthy finalists, but come the end of the year there are going to be 3 very good sides disappointed that they dont have their name on the 2011 cup. Chelsea and the saints have the bigger names whereas East Bri and the doggies have a more even spread of talent and run which i think we will telling.

Assuming Chelsea Heights have somewhat of a full list they'll challenge but winning from 4th or 5th is a tough job albeit nigh impossible. City without Tilley have some structural issues. Poyas has carried them all year along with Quinn. St.Pauls have done the job but anyone that reckons that they're under the radar are dreaming. They should go into the 2nd Semi in a preview of what the GF will be. City and CH will fight it out for the preliminary berth and again that will depend on CH health. Realistically, EB are in the box seat at present. That may change with injury but if they get through the 2nd semi relatively unscathed they'll be tough to toss.

Three others didn't play last week as a precaution but should be right plus there are two others who would have been in contention for selection (fringe) but have been out for a few weeks.

thought there was a few more than 3!

tips this weekend
Saturday
seniors: st pauls by 25 points (flag smokey)
reserves: st pauls by 13 points

Sunday
seniors:Chelsea by 11 points (but chelts young running side may suit springy)
reserves: chelt by 9 points

other peoples tips???

Saturday
seniors: City by 10 points They always find a way to get it done @ Finals time
reserves: Heights by 7 goals. Have been on an absolute tear during the 2nd half of the season.

Sunday
seniors:Chelsea to guts out a 5 goal win. Even with a few kids playing.
reserves: Chelts experience to get them a close win. Maybe a couple goals.

Gotcha nothings over until it's over. Speculation is marvellous but at the end of it all. My take is that Chelsea will have to take risks this week which may be costly. St. Pauls will go in pretty well at full strength. Tilley has busted his ankle apparently although McIntyre has also done ligaments he is probably shot for the year. That will mean that Quinn should have to go forward and rob the midfield. Doggies to win on that basis as I don't think City have enough strike power. EB will probably come in at full strength in the 2nd semi, courtesy the break which is imposing. My tip Chelsea just but wounded, Doggies over the Saints and after that it's a raffle but if EB get through the 2nd semi they would be unbackable

No structural damage, just a good roll of the ankle.

All i will say is he isn't done with for the year.

Seniors St. Pauls by over 39.5 StKilda's time in the sun is over
Reserves Don't care but St.Pauls by 20

Sunday

Chelsea Heights by 25+ The Rosella's just don't get near the top 4
Chelt have a fair record in the 2's other than winning flags. To win by 18 points

We have beaten St Pauls and St Kilda City this year Muse so saying that we don't get near the top 4 isn't an accurate statement! We haven't gotten really near CH or EB though!

2s have now played in 10 straight Div 1 finals series. Great effort and last time I checked we won the 2s flag last year... ;)

Players considered 'Senior Players' by last years coaching staff??

In that case... Two (both qualified under the under 19 rule and played 4 ressies games at the start of the year).

As you are implying, I can categorically say without a doubt that we didn't stack the side. We weren't allowed to.

But you haven't turned them into Senior flags at all so what is the use of winning a 2s flag ( they count for nothing )

Certainly commendable Super just how many bridesmaids gowns did you collect in those 10 years? I reckon 5 at least.

The Muse is right on the money! Be surprised if Chelt can get over the Heighters this week regardless of injury. Would like to see them win and then knock over City or St.Pauls but wishful thinking doesn't win games

You can't call a side who has lost 1 game since rd5 a smoky.they will beat city by 6 plus goals.I reckon chelt will get up over Chelsea with Chelsea having players break down on the day. Reserves no idea as have taken no notice.

Longy has been a gun local footballer mainly in MPNFL but not good for Mordy to have a 40 yo finish 2nd in your b&f

the reason i called them a smokey is because EB are red hot favorites and should win the flag if they play anywhere near what they have for a majority of this year!

How many of Mordi's top 5 in the b&f will hang around now that Aaron Martello has resigned? I'm sure there's going to be alot of interest in there gun players, especially from the top 4 or 5 teams.
