I was talking to a couple of EB people yesterday and they were pretty upset with you gobbing off before the finals have even started.

For your sake mate lets hope the boys dont choke because you havent won anything yet.

Thats so funny as we have all been laughing about you lol :D:D:D:D:D

Even on the radio today they said how p..s poor you have gone
JUST GET IT RIGHT fool

With the SFL minor premiership in its keeping, East Brighton sharpened its claws for the finals with a 58-point win over Dingley at Souter Oval.
It ended in a sad day for MAHALO as he had been talking dingley up a fair bit

The Vampires, with their multi-pronged attack, solid defence and hungry on-ball contingent, increased their lead at each break with their no-fuss approach.
Ben Douthie had the ball on a string, while forwards Dean Francis who with his bag of (seven goals) tied up the leading goalkicking award for the year and Mark Jamieson (four) provided the bulk of the scoring for the visitors'.
The coaching panel for dingley where cluess as, what to do about vampires run on the ball
Cameron Buss and Toby Mahoney also stood out for the winners, as did Hamish Scott, who produced his best game of the season.
There where no players that where up to the class of East Brighton vampires who where still under manned but far too good for DINGLEY
Dingley have finshed with another very poor season, but the Vampires are looking to add to the their trophy cabinet
The song does say it all doesn't it

So now to the business end of the season
East Brighton have done everything right so far but they have to go all the way or it doesn't mean anything
The great thing about finishing on top it has given the coaching staff a chance to rest some players and to have them right for the finals 4/7 chance to win the flag

St.Pauls have done a great job so far and picking up the extra players they have has turn them it to a top looking side 5/4 chance to win the flag

St Kilda City have done a top job of getting new players in plus adding juniors along the way Plus I don't think we have seen the best of them yet 2/1 chance to win the flag

Chelsea Heights Have had a very hard run to the finals and it has taken its toll on them and with far to many players injured to worry the top 3 10/1 chance to win the flag

Cheltenham have some top young players but with brown out they are 3- 4 players of the top 3 40/1 chance to win the flag

This week

2:00*PM Qualifying Final Springvale Reserve*
Sat*3/Sep St Pauls x 8pts vs St Kilda City
2:00*PM Elimination Final Springvale Reserve*
Sun*4/Sep Chelsea Heights x 13pts vs Cheltenham
There will be some top class football to be seen on the weekend, and lets hope the weather stays sunny

The top 4 at the end of year will be Chelsea Heights,East Brighton,St Kilda City,St Pauls then I'm still tipping Chelt will get there

Big game this week East Brighton vs St Kilda City at Hurlingham Reserve This is also the 88.3 fm game of the round
Im tipping East Brighton by 3 goals
all the other games are easy wins[/QUOTE]

You were wrong when you started highlighting certain players for playing to instruction. They are out there having a crack and you are hanging over the fence staring at them.

I was supporting the guys. Sorry mate, cant wait until you come down to the next game to read your inciteful (boring) comments.

But as your mate Football Great has decreed, keep doing what you are doing man!

I dont know why i bother with you and FG. You make comments after a skin full of pies and fizz and FG wont even show his support, but like you, he loves taking cheap shots. Well he was horribly wrong yesterday as you were a couple of weeks ago!!!

How wrong have you been so far, this is one but there are many times so dont talk like you know what you are talking about, very far from it.

This is the last time I will enter into this shxt
I will just go on stating what I think ,and if you can't work out who I go for that is your bad luck. LOL

Must be said though the Cheltenham unit are a much better team than the 2010 version. Last year they were top heavy and slow. I'm tipping they'll make the finals and tip Dingley out. Top 5 to be CH, EB, StK, St.P and Chelt

I see East Brighton have been looking for extra help to win the Premiership this year.Click here to see what I mean

Next week. Chelsea v EB.. should be a good one.. great win by the Vampires today and just shows right now 3 teams should be on the top line of betting for the flag....

Just a few highlights from posts so far this year lol

So Chelsea were overcome by a surging St Pauls. St Pauls would have to be favourite coming in now after such a comprehensive victory over a side that beat East Brighton by 5 goals only a week earlier.

Don't know if St. Pauls had any out, but it's fair to say they weren't missing players such as:

Flack (C)
Smith (FF)
Walsh (FP)
Carmody (CHF)
Moor (FB)
Omond (On ball)
Murphy (On Ball - and probably leading their B&F)
Strobel (On Ball)

Downie (CHB) also went down early

Also played a 16 year old, 2 17 year olds and 3 dudes from the 2's who haven't played a senior game all year.

So not meaning to take anything away from St. Pauls, but in reality, they did what they had to do against an opposition that was well down on personel.

Will be a cracking finals series though I think.

It must upset our coaching panel to be described as cluess as!!!

Here's a thought, take your time when responding, read before sending and then hit the go button.

Also, try not to drink Red BUll when responding because it turns you more stupid than normal. You respond 5 times to my post that only stated that your club thinks that you are a fool as well.

All I have said is fact nothing else
So far they haven't done anything as the highest paid coaching panel in SFL but if think it is good and so does the club well you will be back in D2 very fast
I can see every club will get better next year
Yes they couldn't stop The Vampires and had many players playing where they shouldn't have been

Why not get rid of a few of them and only keep Morwood and get some better players to help out the young ones

Also you have been wrong on everything you have said here all year as you said we would finish out of the 5, fool that you are

If you think for one min that anything that is said here would change a game of football you are bigger fool than I thought, but this is the end of you for the year so hope you around next year with a better team than you have now

It is funny how none has backed you up at all with anything that you say

At least he replies to your post
I'm still waiting for an answer on the years of your last 3 flags since you tell like to tell us how to run our club you must have a cabinet full of premiership cups.

That is some list of players missing
So is Flack ok now ?

Was a lot of very well credentialed water boys at Beazley Reserve on Saturday, thats for sure.

Flacky won't take any part in the finals series unfortunately. He's still in a neck brace, but did coach on Saturday.
Sorry to hear that Flacky won't be available for finals. Good bloke and good footballer. Big loss. Will you get many of the injured blokes back for this eeks final against Chelt? I would have thought it would be a formality against the Rosellas but with that injury list any game is going to be difficult for you to win.

Bad news for the Heighters with all those out. Hopefully they'll get a few back for this weeks elimination final but their quest for a flag would seemed shot to bits. They may get over Cheltenham, no gimme BTW, but the next week against City or the Doggies may be too much. I understand Dingley has a 3 year plan but it looks seriously derailed at present. They probably went backwards in 2011.

So Mahalo what is your take on the upcoming finals series? Having seen EB and City the last two weeks you might be able to provide some valuable insight into a cracking month of footy.

Yeah you rarely hear any bad words about Flacky as a Bloke, player or Coach, so it is a fairly big hole to fill.

I think most of the injured players would have played on the weekend if it was a final, so hopefully they'll be right for Sunday against Chelt, who always play well against us.

Ok I see Dingley do have a plan.
Now I understand it is 3 year plan to win a D2 flag, and it looks like paying off
So how many flags in 50-60 years ???

The flag race is wide open in my opinion. St.Pauls ins from Noble park appear to have paid dividends and must be rated a chance. They have a poor record in GF's though but this list has little history of that. StKilda could beat anyone on their day but I question their depth. If East Brighton are close to full strength I don't see many cracks there and will be hard to beat. They have been the best team all season without any AFL inclusions. Excellent player management and coached well. Chelsea Heights at full strength would challenge all teams but are limping into finals wounded. Maybe the premiership window is closing. Cheltenham were disadvantaged once Nathan Brown went down. May get over the wounded Chelsea Heights but don't see them going any further

Had you won by 158 points, I could understand this, but that you won by 58 suggests there's plenty of BS associated with the above post.

Geez you're a hard task master. 10 goals is a drubbing in anyones language and you want another 100 points to give it credit. How is your side travelling or were you on the end of that belting?

This year is far more open than the last couple of years. There are 4 legitimate Premiership chances this season as opposed to 2 last year.

East Brighton have been the yard stick since mid season and have earned favoritism. They are strong all over the ground and have potent scoring potential. Do they have the depth if they lose a couple of key players during the finals? They were super impressive on Saturday but their real test awaits them. They have all of the pressure on them.

St.Pauls have been quietly going about their season and have also been impressive. They have won the Flag only a couple of years ago and still have many of the winners still at the club. They have also recruited impressively and it is all coming together at the right time.

St.Kilda City are my favorite to win the flag. They have been a bit up and down this season but at their best they are the real deal. Lets not forget what they did to the flag favorites last year. They also have the best player in the comp up and firing.

Chelsea Heights have been cruelled by injury. If they get most of the walking wounded back on the track they can challenge. They beat East Brighton away only a couple of weeks ago but I fear that everything must go right for them from here and at this time of the year, that seldom happens.

Cheltenham are up against it, especially as their Coach and champion player has been unavailable due to injury. Dont be surprised if they take a scalp during the finals because they play with great spirit and have developed a fantastic culture amongst their many young blokes that have come through the ranks. They are building nicely for the next few years.

St.Kilda City to beat a gallant East Brighton comfortably
St.Pauls to finish 3rd, Chelt to upset Chelsea Heights and finish 4th and an unlucky Chelsea Heights to finish 5th.

FG's post suggests EB had the best 22 players on the field, yet won on what is a small, fast ground against far inferior opposition by less than ten goals and allowed 22 scoring shots.

I'm just not sure how that happens if the game was as FG suggested. The margin would be closer to 158 than 58 if his post was accurate.

Funny, I can't remember him popping off like this at the same stage last year...

Oh, and welcome aboard Rookie.

It was a top win with the dingoes pushing City the week before and The Vampires with many of there stars still missing plus resting players after half time

It shows how good the boys are Plus there wasn't much to play for just pride, and they showed they have a lot of that

So we will see in the coming weeks as to who stands up when it counts, as they say to finish on top doesn't mean a thing if you don't win it, as Chelsea well know :D:D:D:D
But it has been full credit to a great coaching panel, to manage the team so well with Barry Hope & crew.He has to be coach of the year with 15 straight wins and finishing on top of the ladder :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Aren't you the bloke that only watches a game here and there LOL
Also how did Heighters go this week ??? If you are still waiting to only see the Preliminary, I don't think you will be seeing Chelsea in it as they have far to many injured players and Flack is a very big out as he is one the best players in the comp
