I am in need of some guinea pigs.... ah... willing participants (consent forms will of course be shredded... ah... provided) to help me out with a university research project about our beloved Carlton and Princes Park! This time around, there will be no needles...
I haven't set this in stone as yet, and am after an indication of how many people would like to participate before I go ahead with my plan, so I would love if people could post in here if they are willing to be interviewed about their connection with the club and, in particular, the place itself.
The exact research question/goal will be refined soon, so I apologise for the ambiguity, but the topic will revolve around the historical and present day culture of the Carlton Football Club and, as such, I would love to interview people who regularly attend the ground for games, functions or generally hang about like bad smells. In particular, I'd love to hear from people who have been doing so for a long time or, if you have moved away, were a regular around Princes Park many moons ago. That's not to suggest younger supporters aren't wanted - quite the opposite! People who have a relatively newer affiliation with the club are very much wanted as well. thylacine60 - I am aware you are far too important and busy, so your apology has been pre-registered. Thanks anyway
.
For those participating, it will likely take the form of a written questionnaire that is relatively short, fairly open-ended and is all about talking feelings. Because what Arts degree course wouldn't be about hugs and feelings right?!
So if you love the club and want to help a brother out by kicking back with a beer/wine/tea/whatever and reminiscing about out amazing club, please let me know! If it goes ahead, I will PM those who are interested to get some email addresses etc and I might end up posting the research up here too, just so those who are keen can have a read.
Thanks fam
