We have too many. I think it is part of an attitude of trying to develop a type of player to meet our needs instead of picking a player that demonstrates he meets our needs.

This is why we have a number of similar spuds IMO!!

Nason never was good enough, add Farmer Kinggy has been good but he will be too old for us, Never seen Contin and Dea has some potential with Edwards and then there are the others

Remember at the end of last year people were talking about us needing more "outside" midfielders!!!!

I think we will be looking for some boys to play "inside" the engine room in the next couple of draft/trade periods

We need to trade for 2 ruckman. We'll lose our 2nd and 3rd Round picks from those trades alone.

Who do you have in mind? Call me a pessimist, but I reckon you'd be lucky to get anyone you could consider to be an upgrade on Graham and Browne for a second or third rounder in a weak draft, surely?

Not quite sure how King and Dea fall into the 'light framed' category?? I quite like the look of Dea and think that he could fill out nicely..

Anyway back onto Edwards and yes I agree that it's well and truly worth a shot pushing him deep forward.. He's got good hands in traffic and lays a pretty good tackle for his size.. I've saw him shark a few goals early in his career that led me to believe that he could be dangerous up there..

He just makes too many dumb decisions to be playing where he is a bit like Kingy really.
The move worked for Jake and it would for Edwards for the same reasons.

I'm not a fan at all but whoever said he was soft is kidding themselves,some people just don't watch obviously.I'll hive him a tick for work rate and effort and that's so important as a small forward now.

I don't mind the idea and think it has merit.

I like the idea. but everyone loves king and I cant see him being delisted anytime soon, even if his form hasd ropped off heaps.

edwards always goes in hard. runs hard does some great things but then makes it look ugly by shanking the kick horribly. I think hes too rushed when kicking on the run. otherwise hes a good player thatd id keep for depth. was excellent last year as well so has some currency.

Can roast a spud and boil a spud but in the end it's always a spud. Can't kick and is really soft, enough said.
