Not the most exciting topic, I know, but has anybody else noticed his complete refusal to use his left foot this year? From a bloke who has frustrated Collingwood fans for many years by using his left (poorly), when he could easily straighten up and use his preferred right (Mostly poorly), I'm surprised to see so many banana's on the run from him. Is he injured, or is it a directive from the coaches?

On a more exciting topic, loved the debut's of the 3 boys last night. I know it's been covered, but the way Brad D used the ball was absolutely brilliant to see. He will be a very valuable player for us. Was impressed with Cox and Toovey as well, but I'm pretty sure it will be the last time he ever kicks 3 goals in a match for Collingwood. Doesn't strike me as a powerful scoring option.

O'Bree isn't in as great form as he was last year but is really doing a job and a half around the stoppages and in and under and looks stronger. One piece of play that stuck in my head was him going to ground to secure the ball, 2 oponents were trying to keep him down but he stood up and got a handball off.

Doesn't matter which foot he uses, he butchers it.

Just watch the first 30 seconds of the game against the tigers.

He did kick a cracker left goal on the run against the weagles from 50 out

quick, hide, here comes the anti OBree police.

and this time they have their 'Best Clearance player there is, ever was and ever will be gear on'

 Here comes the O'Bree police who will shoot down anyone who rates him as a player worthy of being on an AFL list. Let's just agree to disagree. If you don't have constructive criticsm just don't post anything at all.

O’Bree in form can find it but he burns it far too often. If we are to improve we need better skills. If we could get a decent trade for O’Bree we’d be stupid not to take it. The debutants were good. Did as well as could be expected. Toovey’s 3 goals were very handy. I’m not convinced he is clean enough yet but maybe nerves were a factor. He looks like he knows how to play though. With any luck Dyk will replace Leon. Cox I’m am not sold on yet but he deserves more opportunity. Someone has to go out for Buckley if he plays and Cox might be the one. I would think Wakelin would make way for Clement.

Lighten up jabso and enjoy the comic stylings of the russian.

i have constructive criticsim though, Obree cant kick and should work on that aspect of his game.

That comment should only see me do community hours under the new anti-OBree laws.

remember be alert but not alarmed.

Shouldn't they be anti-anti-O'Bree laws?

Idiot.........He kicked a goal against West Coast from 50m on he's left 2 weeks ago......We are 2 - 1 and playing some good footy and we want to hang it on O'Bree for not using he's left peg so does that make James Hird a mug aswell.....This thread sums up the unfair treatment O'Bree has received from day 1 he has been at Collingwood.

This countrys stuffed.

we have been playing some awful footy, just getting over the line against 2007 15th and 16th place getters, lets not kid ourselves.
