Not very good news as far as his injury is concerned. In a press conference yesterday he said he would be out of action for 7 months and would require to wear a back brace for 3 months to recover from the stress fractures in his back.

Probably the best thing to do, hopefully giving it that long it wont re-occur again in the future. Some words from the horses mouth which I found interesting.....

My pace was probably 80 percent

I know when I get it to 100 percent and bowl as well as I was then, I will probably be even more lethal

Damn that's horrible news for Shane. I really rate him as a player for the future. Hope he comes back O.K.
