Whats happened to him, he hasn't been playing that well this year, low stats, bad for my dream team  . Is he getting heavily tagged each week now. Last year he was a gun, probably a top 5 player in the afl and it just seems hes gone back to an average footballer, thoughts.

I don't know if the tagging really gets under his skin (I imagine it does), but he just doesn't seem to be working anywhere near hard enough. Especially the 1%ers.

That report has knocked the sails from him. he will need time to get over that.

Does not matter that he got off has not been the same player since

That's all fine, but there is never an excuse for not doing the 1%ers.

Tackling, shepherding, spoiling, second efforts, third efforts, pressure.

what kind of comment is that? he got reported and got off, big deal. shouldnt affect his form 3 weeks later.

Shaun can cope with tagging better than I do with "dream teams". Lonie is a good dreamteamer, because most stats are meaningless.

I hope you are either joking or drunk!!!

Neither. Aboriginals have respect for elders and to appear before them in a tribal setting a fairly daunting experience.

You will find that some courts of the land now have circular courts for Aboriginal cases. In this respect the tribunal with video and the panel sitting in front is quite foreign to them. Aboriginal players will be very quietly spoken and will not stand up for themselves. There was a Crows player who mounted his own defence but an Aboriginal player would not.

Maybe you should read a little or talk to some Aboriginals about their law making. Maybe we could learn something

I also object to you inferring that I am drunk because I have a different view

But, Pinepower, you must know that indigenous people in Australia grow up in all sorts of different cultural environments, some much less traditional than others. You can't just lump everybody into one group of "them".

The only issue I could imagine JB having with the tribunal might possibly be all that "Brownlow contender" kerfuffle, which may have embarrassed him (I reckon someone told him to say it because it'd be good for his defence), but it's hard to see how it could have put him off his game so thoroughly.

There should be no ****ing **** excuses for that ****ed up ****ing **** performance. Shaun ****ing Burgoyne being ****ing upset by getting ****ing off from a tribunal **** **** decision should have no ****ing **** bearing on his ****ed up ****ing **** performances. None of them should be using any ****ing **** mother****ing **** ****ing excuses. And neither should any Port fans be using any ****ing **** **** mother****ing excuses for what's ****ing transpired the last ****ing **** mother****ing month.

The Port Power excuses are coming thick and fast, this one certainly takes the cake. Even your mates on here think you have lost the plot.

Pull your head in. It's a possible reason based on fact, not an excuse.

Personally I think that the incident has affected him for whatever reason, however it's gone on too long now. I'm concerned that he has lost a fair amount of confidence, and is the club doing enough to help him through it. I agree that his workrate has dropped however I think this is directly related to his confidence. Aside from this I think he's been hit very hard physically by the opposition - even pre-season, and he is very sore as a result. I was pretty pleased to see him get up from the early hit and play on and have a comparatively good first Q. This is a good sign. He'll be back soon enough.

Yes they do but all the Aboriginals I have worked with and seen socially are all agreed that the elder system is what works. Some have trouble explaining it and others try to shrug it off.

I just pass it on as experience and still not drunk. ( I never drink this early in the day)

Doesnt work hard enough, and may have believed in some of the articles written.. as good as chris judd.. bwhahaha bit like comparing tredrea to carey.. what a joke

Scram clown - you have absolutely NFI and you are clearly not a Port supporter.

Maybe not drunk but I think you have been smoking too many pine leaves there?
Shaun Burgoyne wasn't brought up in Yuendumu mate.
I dare say he wouldn't have been initiated into any tribe either .
He is a towny and would be most upset about reading the dribble you are coming out with:thumbsd:
He is getting the best tagger from each side and isn't being helped out by his team mates to break the tag.
If anything he along with a few of his team mates including Tredrea look a little bit disinterested at the moment.
