They're also both tall.;

Getting better thanks. 1 week out of 3 months on crutches down.

****ing hell Ben, Laycock is 201cm and Myers is 190cm. :D

Glad to hear your recovery is going well. :thumbsu:

In light of Ben's comments i am going to make a concerted effort not to get stuck into Kelvin in regards to his excessive tirades against Myers.

Whilst i do think that many of his comments are unwarranted, i do acknowledge that this is an open forum and therefore he can make these sorts of comments.

Personally i reckon he has shown some good signs in the last couple of weeks and i am sure the willingness is there.

A question re his kicking skills. Does anyone get the impression that he is nervous when kicking? It sort of seems like he is scared to kick through the ball and is therefore sort of just looping his passes. From my experiences of playing football if i was ever really nervous sometimes i would nurse my kicks as opposed to kicking through the ball with confidence. Just a theory.

Yep Dusty but Myers is a fair unit. I remember standing next to him at the scratch match just after he was drafted and i actually thought it was Pears because he was so freaking tall. If he could improve his skills and turn into an onballer he could be a real weapon.

I'm not saying don't disagree with him, because discussion is why we're all here, but I'm getting sick of the responses of "Myers will be a star1!!!!1". Use some evidence, discuss his games, whatever, but this kelvin bashing when he has been correct so far is ridiculous.

I'm not sure what it is, but his kicking skills have been below par this year. Even though ant says he isn't the elite kick some people think he is, and never has been, is it too much to expect a drop punt from a set shot 45m out directly in front in perfect conditions?
