Shingeki No Kyojin - Attach on Titan

I haven't watched anime for a long long time and after much recommendation from friends I am not disappointed.

Need to read the manga now.

Anybody else watched this? What are your thoughts?

I'm up to date with the manga and anime. I am really disappointed with the ending of season 1 of the anime. The episode was going great until they decided to leave the reveal/tease until after the credits to which most people won't even watch. The way the manga revealed the plot point was far more epic and infused better into it. But yeah a solid season, some fantastic moments.

Attach on titan? I don't think the characters of this anime would be willingly attaching to the titans.

Love this anime, ep 25 disappointing but some other people were even changing their ratings of the whole season just for this episode, unnecessary.

I thought the ending was heaps ambiguous. And the foreshadowing after the credit gave away a bit.

There are theories that Mikasa may be a Titan. So let me summarise this theory that others have thought up and that I've subscribed to.

- Eren has been in multiple situations where he would be involved in fights - fights with bullies, fights with the bandits that killed Mikasa's parents and so on. Every single time when Eren was in a spot of bother Mikasa would rescue him. It was like Mikasa was compelled to help him - just like all the other Titans were compelled to kill the Titan that ate Hannes and Eren's mum.

- In addition to that, she has had these headaches - she call's it "that again"

- So could it be that she potentially has special blood or something in her that has not awakened or something? If I recall she was of Asian heritage, an Orient and last of her clan? Not to mention that the Titan that chomped on Commander Irvin was of Asian appearance...

- Also Eren may have had the "co-ordinate" to command Titans from the very beginning, though he does not realise it and has been commanding Mikasa the whole entire time?

-idk but **** I love this manga so much. **** Bleach and all that shit.

What's the deal with the speaking Titans?

We've got the Monkey Titan who can speak and has no idea about the 3DM yet somehow learned the language.

We've got Connie's mum who just transformed into a Titan but was too big bodied to support herself on her flimsy limbs that even stated "Welcome Home" to him when he was just about to leave - So perhaps Titans retain some level of intelligence when they are freshly transformed?
