I'm going to the pistol range in Flemington on Sunday. We've chosen "The Movie Star Package". For $69 It includes:

15 rounds of a 9mm Beretta semi-automatic (Lethal Weapon)
12 rounds of .44 Magnum S&W revolver (Dirty Harry)
12 Rounds or .45 H&K USP (Bad guys from Die Hard)

Has anyone done this before???

I'm not sure if I'm working myself up too much, and the whole experience will be very sanitised. I'd really like to do a few command rolls, and maybe knock off a few shots with 2 guns. (One upside down of course!)

Whenever I go pistol shooting, I'm always amazed at the immediate power they have. You don't get that impression from watching movies or TV. You'll come away with a greater respect for what they are like to handle, and what they are capable of.

For some reason, it's not like that firing a shotgun, or going rifle shooting.

Have fun, be safe and use hearing protection.

You're not wrong there Moo-man!

It was AMAZING!!!! I had the best time and can't wait to do it again. I don't think I was too bad considering I'd never held a gun before. I got much better as I started to imagine certain faces on the target too! :D
