After the allegation of James Hird should Andrew resign
How can you reveal something like this and get away with it.
It is alleged he made the club aware of the investigation

How can he pass judgement on the club when we now believe it is a boys club
I highly doubt the lower ranked clubs would get the same assistance.

Time to go

I suspect that Andy has loaded the escape pod full of cash, and is sitting there with his Tony Mokbel travel guide shouting "Adrian" into his phone..

Hell yeah!!! Corrupt, incompetent and position completely untenable. Under no circumstances should he preside over penalties handed out to cheatsfc. He has been uncovered as being completely compromised! Filthy scumbag...

The only downside is that may mean Gilligan gets the job.

I think Vlad might be the lesser of two evils there. I don't want that polo playing spud as the game's new emperor.

Questions for Andy:

1. What did you say to Evans that night of the phone call?
2. Did you ask him to refrain from discussing the contents of the call with others?
3. When did you read the full ASADA / ACC report?
4. Who else has read the full report?
5. Had Bill Kelty read the report before meeting with James Hird (prior to Hird's ASADA interview)?
6. Did Kelty clear the meeting with you beforehand or did you have knowledge of it?
7. Do you know what Kelty discussed with Hird that night?
8. Do you think it's credible that Kelty did not mention any aspect of the report or investigation to Hird given his closeness to Hird and EFC?
9. Do you accept that Kelty made a judgment error as an AFL Commissioner in meeting with Hird before the ASADA interview?
10. Do you think Kelty's position on Evans & Partners Advisory Board is a conflict of interest?
11. Kelty has said he will absent himself from decision, but should the AFL ensure that Kelty has no access to any information concerning the investigation? (It's one thing not to vote, it's quite another to have access to information that could prejudice the investigations or interviews).
12. Why did you call Essendon's main sponsors?
13. What did you say to them?
14. Do you accept that the Switkowski report cannot be independent given that it was conducted by a strong EFC supporter?
15. Why did you not suggest to EFC when they came forward to suggest their own investigation that they appoint someone with no links to EFC?
16. Is AOD a banned substance? Was it banned when EFC admitted to taking it?
17. Is there any other sport in the world where an athlete has admitted taking a banned substance and been allowed to play on?
18. Are you a gambler? How much money would you stake in an average year?
19. Do you have a relationship with any bookmakers or gambling organisations? Do these organisations also place bets on the AFL?
20. Do you think this is material to the integrity of the AFL?

There are just some questions based on these threads ... what others would you ask Andy D?

Strangely enough these seem to be exactly all the questions we will never receive answers to.
Well done.
Time to go Vlad your love of Essendon and Evans has sunk your blubber laden hull!

Nothing like a bit of racism in the morning

Depends on the kind of racism. If it's a private exchange between two people concerned about the direction of recruitment of indigenous footballers, then one of them will be hung out to dry. If it's a well known media identity calling half a city "falafel land" or comparing one of the best indigenous players in the game to an ape, then all good.

Nothing like a bit of racism in the morning

Apologies for my remark. My Greek mates don't seem to take any offence to casual 'shifty' references, just like my Irish heritage is often brought up when having a drink.

But jokes between friends is not the same as strangers on a msg board, so it was inappropriate. And racist.

For the record, I obviously don't have a problem with Vlad because of his heritage. I have a problem with him because he is shifty. I also make no apologies for being prejudiced against people who play polo.

Pardon my ignorance, I haven't been following the threads as closely as some of the others but - I see this from time to time. What's the drinking game here? :p

created by the knowledgeable posters on here so im just joining in, im not sure that us mere mortals are permitted to though.

Got a transcript of the conversation:
Vlad: Dave, it's me, Vladimir.
Evans: Yes oh great one!
Vlad: I am returning your call but I can't talk about anything.
Evans: Have I got a problem?
Vlad: I can't say.
Evans: Is it about those damn peptides we've been using and the media is hounding us over?
Vlad: I'm not allowed to tell you!
Evans: So we are being investigated and you can't tell me this?
Vlad: I can't tell you this.
Evans: So you think we should shred the evidence, destroy all our hard drives and pay off a few individuals?
Vlad: I can't tell you how to act.
Evans: Shyte, it must be bad if you can't tell me anything!
Vlad: I can't tell you anything!
Evans: Thanks for the heads up! Obviously you can remember what dad did for you! Cheers!
Vlad: I think I can say goodbye? Cheers!

Evans then rushes to the Hird and co:

HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!

Vlad quote from radio interview this morning......

"In the conversation I had with David, when he was agitated, he was asking me about things he'd been hearing all day, he asked is the Essendon Football Club, are we the club under investigation from ASADA, and I said I don't know, I don't know if you're the club"

Weather Vlad revealed to David Evans that it was Essendon or not, the fact that he effectively confirmed that yes, an AFL club is under investigation. Whilst he might not of known which club, Essendon put 2 and 2 together and say, or crap......our doping program has been found out.........we better come clean.

This is no coincidence......just another AFL cover-up that has now been exposed.
The more that comes out, hopefully the more transparent the process is and the more sever the punishment according to the alleged offences.

Andy D has to go.....ho ho.....yo yo

huuuhh huuuhh huuhh reeeeeaaaaaaly !
At this time last year the job was his for as long as he wanted it, now that is not the case, he needs to be able to handle the fall out when ASADA hands down it findings (and suspensions), take material action against Essendon and then work out how he can rebuild the image of the game
