Would collingwood be better off dropping pendlebury to the magoos for a couple of weeks so that he can get a kick and a bit mroe confidence into him?

it was always quite obvious that as every other great player does he was always going to struggle in his 2nd full year because every other club has now worked out all his strenghts and weaknesses whereas last year he flew under the radar and was able to play the way he wanted.

i guess all the people that said he would be better than murphy look pretty silly now.

Why? Murphy looked like shit in his 2nd year to. Any particular reason you started this thread off in Bay 13?

Hes having a slow start but won't be dropped, hes not playing as much on the ball at the moment.

Anyway you should be more worried about your own team.

Bryce Gibbs ?

going along just fine atm. don't forget he's the same age as the draftees from last year so we can't expect too much too soon. but obviously it's easier to get a game at carlton than it is at collingwood.

No not really.

Pendlebury is still better than Murphy. :thumbsu:

In rod we trust is better than murphy.

Pendlebury is a top player and at this stage is more developed than Murphy ( although I think Murphy will also be a good player). He should be left in the team as he will soon bounce back.

Collingwood are a side full of average players.

When just one or two or these players have poor games, it really brings the team back, and turns them into the average side that they really are

Didak, Cloke, Thomas all pretty average really.

This is the third time I've seen Pendlebury play this season and he's hardly got near the ball in the each of them. At the moment Murphy is the better player of the two. Thomas should have kicked that goal also.

How about just for once posters lay off players who have only had a couple of years in the game and yet to prove themselves.

No Pendlebury should not be dropped because of a tough game against the lions in wet weather, he is a highly skilled footballer. Murphy is not shit and neither is Gibbs, give them a bit of time to prove themselves.

:rolleyes:shit effort mate. I guess your just getting in a few last cheap shots before you and your fellow blues fans go into hiding after tonights thumping at the hands of the saints.

did i ever say we wouldn't get smashed by the saints tonight?? no i know we will get smashed but i'll still be there supporting my team. and if you read through my posts on the previous page i even said collingwood is currently a better team than carlton (or that it is harder to get a game for collingwood than carlton) but that ain't what this thread is about. stop trying to change the subject just because it might hurt you.

Yes he should. In fact we should drop a few players because i have a ripper idea.

We are only playing Richmond next week so the Pies should hold a raffle and make some money.
10 winners of this raffle get to play against the Tigers, and 10 of our players get a rest.

It's only Richmond, it's not like we will need our good players.

Not neccesarry, i think most of us have been on your side re: this topic. :D

In all seriousness, i like Pendlebury, so i think hes entitled to two average games considering his great 2007.

And you will need your good players when you go up against us, im pretty sure we had the last laugh in 07 too. :thumbsu:
