Should We Be Worried?

After the last 2 games what's everyones take on things?
Are the team in freefall like Richmond after they lost to Essendon or have we just hit a rough trot of form coupled with some key injuries that has coincided in the games with the 2 top sides in the comp along with ourselves?
I'd be interested to know everyone's thoughts & I'm hoping it's just a blip.

Dipp, stick with us, weve copped some untimely injuries, but on the up side some of the kids we are introducing will become great players, Nicholls, Johnston and Lonie all performed well, OFarrell showed some touch in the ruck, we were never going to go 22 rounds undefeated, we have a weeks break and should get at least Chick, Rehn and Barker back next game. We will be alright

 

[Pessimistic]

The management down at glenferrie aren't. They are getting the injured players right before they play again. That is taking advantage of the fact that we have 8 wins, the extra week off and planning a run in the lead up to the finals.

Dermie said that Chick was OK for saturday but they decided on an extra weeks rest. Any one of our stars in theat team would have meant a win against Geelong.

Also heard that Dutchy might get a half a game run for Box Hill this weekend - It against the kangaroos so might even be Corey or Carey there !

Carey in reserves.....I doubt it! Corey's been on fire since returning from the magoos and may be a handful for your defence (hopefully!) and the game is during the day so he will be able to see the ball properly.

Anyway, looking forward to the game against you lot. Should be a big game - you are getting quite a few blokes back from injury arn't you! Will Crawford play?

North vs. Hawks is my favourite game in the AFL calendar - reminds me of the great clashes between the clubs over the past 25 years. They should set up one of these trophies (like Coll/Rich have) for the game and promote it and allow both clubs to get a nice little earner from it.
