Im so sick of reimers boots.
i dont mind he wears them, he's a gun :thumbsu:
but the media are frustrating me so bad.
whenever they'll mention essendon it'll then go into reimers boots.
"does he deserve to wear them..." blah blah.
is it just me or do the media always do this now?
non-stop talking about ablett, franklin, reimers boots, bomber thompson eating...
 
I would love reimers if he played for the saints.... But as he plays for you guys i hate him with a passion, i think he may have slipped into the orange boots a little bit early. But he will be remembered for ever because of them. Good on him
 
What do you mean?

Is there some story about his boots?

I'm sure he didn't get a rising star nom for his boots.

I'm also quite happy for him to keep flying under the radar.

What a stupid question. As far as the boots are concerned, it doesnt matter wether he is good enough to play 250 games or 5. They are a pair of boots.

-- Reimers said he was not concerned by the interest in his orange boots saying he has worn different colored boots for most of his playing career including a silver pair while playing under 16’s.

He admitted opposition players regularly sledge him but says its water off a duck’s back.

“The best one was when someone said ‘you are are as ugly as your boots’,” he said smiling.

In an earlier interview Reimers said his current boots were chosen because of the support they provided for an injured foot and only came in orange, black and red. --

What i can't understand is why anyone cares what the media think.

Apart from a select few, they have little idea so why would people care what they think or say.

I pay attention and listen to the views of people i respect not those i have no respect for.
