Sorry if this has been done before, but just looking for a thread to capture the moments of the 2010 season that epitomised the 'side by side' attitude.

Some standouts:

Prestigiacomo. For pulling out of the game when most players would have started, and run off injured.

Mick Malthouse. Watch the team singing the song in the rooms after the match, and you see Leon in there. But he doesn't start in the huddle, it's only after they have started singing that he gets pushed in there. Who did it? Mick, that's who. Well done. Leon was as much a part of the premiership as Goldsack, but misses a lot of the public kudos.

The 31 (or specifically 25-31). For keeping on training even though there were only likely to be 24 starters (the 22, Davis and Presti)

The National Anthem group hug. Love it how we have always linked arms in the anthem, and other teams used to bag us out for it, but now we see other sides try to copy us. Essendon and St Kilda....

Ben Johnson, Ben Reid and Heath Shaw. For their wall in the drawn Grand Final that forced the ball to the wing/boundary line, after arguably Maxwell should have been paid a match-saving mark. It took about six 'second efforts' to get the ball out of danger.

Nathan Buckley and Mick Malthouse. For acting like true professionals in this handover, putting the team first on all occasions.

Luke Ball. For risking playing with Melbourne or West Coast by going in the draft. Every other team except St Kilda could have drafted him, but he made it to Collingwood. There must have been sleepless nights thinking of playing for Essendon with Matthew Knights as coach.

There are others...what are your side by side moments of 2010..?

The (re?) emergence of the chant during the finals series.

tens of thousands of us, side by side.

Plus
Dids and Heater standing tall and repaying the club/supports faith.
Maxy's praise for the rest of the 31 that didn't make it for the big dance.
Eddies passionate barracker's tears of joy
Micks happiness for his 'boys'
but mainly
The boys for standing side by side, passionately Collingwood to prove to the world that it doesn't matter how big a name or high a draft number you have so long as you believe in yourself and your team anything is possible!
