If you think about that in two ways........... one, that would be alright. I rate Ellis a little higher than you think, I reckon he could be alright with us......on the other hand, we need Simmo to back up White...........hmmmmm...........

I don't bloody want Ellis... i want Croad, Holland, Mercuri.... but i suppose that the idiots down at Melbourne can't get us anything much better than some loser like Ellis! :mad:

Think about it.....

Think about just what could happen with this.....

If we trade for Ellis, this will be an extra in defence. I think he is older than most, but when the Doggies were up there he was one good defender, and I think he still is. U may not like him, but we need him as a PLAYER, not a PERSON! U guys are too quick to judge...

But, Add Croad to the mix.......and I tell ya what, we have somethin good here. Backline of Nicho, Ellis and the up and coming STAR Broady with Whelan, febey/Ward and Walsh......Forward line of Croad, Ox, Neita and Robbo with even Brucey, could release Green to midfield with White rucking, Woey, a fit Powell, Yze and Johnno of the wings......I tell ya what, that aint a bad side at all!!!!

Neitz is going back thankyou very much.
I have no problem with Ellis. But he should not be involved in a deal with Farmer as was suggested in one of the posts.

Okay, I agree on one part.........Farmer WON'T be part of the trade seein Ellis comin to Melbourne.......we are not THAT stoopid....

However, I firmly believe that Neita is a lost cause down back. He watches the ball too much, he is a bigger threat up forward and with Ellis, we will do fine. If it doesn't work out Neitz can go back, but he is better up forward.

We have had this argument all year about Neitz and where he should play. All I will say is I think he adds much needed stability to that backline, something we need.
 
See Ellis to the bulldogs is like Grgic to Melbourne.... useless, annoying, stupid, a bum!
So why should we get rid of one Grgic and get another? (that is if we even get rid of the one we got now!) :confused:
I say give the losers to the under 9's and get some good players to Melbourne! :D
