Yeh fantastic effort from Coxy.

Was widely touted as the next Matthew Dent at the Hawks but performed well above expecations and ended up coming second in the Best and Fairest.

I admit, I was a bit rough on Cox when we picked him up on draft day, as I thought he took an oppurtunity away from a kid in that strong draft on our list.

Needless to say, I quickly turned my viewpoint around.

Great first year with the Hawks, I hope he keeps up that form next season.

I'm also here to congratulate Coxie on a wonderfull effort after nothing but disappointment from a man who just wouldn't give a guy who can actually play a real chance, sorry to see u go but all the same well done bloke.

Whats so good about Simon Cox? He is a sweet left foot field kick, but unless he has somehow managed to get some physical presence playing for the hawks, or learn how to take contested marks, i dont see what all the fuss is about.
