Personally I wished he played. Is he likely to be squeezed. Out by your salary cap pressure. I would love him at the pies but just want to know cats supporters opinions of him.

By the way awesome game, I went, supported the cats and I think I was worse than the cats supporters around me.

Simon Hogan isn't going anywhere. In Simon Hogan and Prismall we had 2 young midfielders who will become some of the best in the competition. We had to let Prismall go but there is no way the club would let Simon Hogan slip away.

Hogan has already become one of my favourite players (which isn't easy to do) and i can't wait for him to make himself a permanent player in our top 22.

I can't see the Cats letting this guy go after losing Brent Prismall. There are others who, while in your best 22 currently, are of much less value to your club long term.
It would be insanity, and with all of the great decisions Geelong has made in the last 5 years, I can't see it happening.

We'd be more likely to move Djerrkura on, probably hasn't shown enough in his time there. A lot of injuries, sadly.

Would love to see him provide chop-out for GAJ next year, allowing Gaz to play as a forward more often.
Simon is a ball-magnet and a great link player, good diposal and doesn't mind the in and under either.
Would allow for more options, using Gary to greater effect as required.
Thought Varcoes efforts were pretty poor, given the occassion.
He got the credit on channel 9 for the final Chapman goal.
If you look closely it was Shannon Burns who dug the ball out then gave it to Varcoe who then passed it back to Chappie. Think Hogan is much preferable. Also gets his 25 possessions.

He is our only up and coming mid so he will not be going anywhere.
More up side than Prismal without a doubt.
Will be a regular next year as long as he puts some more bulk on.

He on track and while i'm sure disappointed about missing the game would understand IMO. He simply isn't strong enough yet.

Prismall is a one paced clearance midfielder competing with Corey, Bartel, Ablett and at the time was pushed out by Selwood. As talented as he was he had no future at Geelong. Hogan is quicker and more unique in terms of what he provides for the cats.

I think he's talented enough to play all 22 games next year + finals from the wing next season and with a few extra kg's and a bit more experience under the belt will be a good player in our best 22.

It's Stokes position that is a bit of a wory IMO
