Since Our Last Premiership

Just throwing up some facts/stats here...read into them what you will.

Club Premierships Coaches (includes interim ones)

Adelaide 2 5
Brisbane (1997) 3 4

The only common thread that i can see so far is that we are the only club without a premiership in this time to have had less than 5 coaches during the same amount of time.

With 0 Premierships and 3 coaches have we held onto our coaches too long between drinks (premierships)??

Do we just find it too hard to let go of our main men? Often making excuses for them and being over lenient with them?

Or is stability a good thing when you compare us to the other clubs without a premiership that have tried much more coaches during the same time?

Team of the millenium is pretty well selected, heres another topic, would it beat any of the premiers of this mellenium? Yeah we came close in 02 but not sure if that team all in its prime would get us over the line? Good topic for debate!!

I meant Leon on the field as I don't think Nick Davis is anywhere near that team. You could also play Williams there, have Lockyer on the half back flank and pick another bench player (i just dont like nick davis). Thought he was an emerging talent for us, not a ready made one. Mal Michael was more ready as a pie. There you go, put Mal Michael where O'Brien is, O'Brien for Williams and Williams for N Davis and the bloke's out..



PS. He wasn't joking. That team would maul any team thats ever been. Just about the perfectly balanced side.

Fair enough, maul is probably going a bit far. One things for certain tho - if MM had those players to select he'd still leave 3 out for BJ, Toovey and Maxwell........

Get that treachorous tosser out of your millenium side mate. Ability wise he may deserve to be in there, but for his little sook and go home he doesn't deserve to be there.

Of that list how many GF's, PF's and finals have the different clubs made. I think that would be interesting to look at too.
