Just wanted to see what you guys think about skins? I picked up a pair not too long ago and i think they are fantastic. I have the leggins and they are great. Keep my legs refreshed after those cold nights at training.

I have a pair of skins too that I use for RPM. They are good other than I lost weight now they are not so tight

Yeah they are awsome. I wear them all the time. I have found it really helps to wear them after the game. I just put them under my jeans and my legs feel great the next day even after a big night.

What do people think of the short one that you wear under your footy shorts, what do they do?
Are they good?
Yeah i have a pair of them aswell. Don't always wear them in a game but they are still very good. Probably better if you were into riding rather then footy, but the whole skins range are great:thumbsu:

Got a pair last year and they are amazing. Comfy and keeps me refreshed at training on those cold nights. Even good for those freezing mornings on the way to school.

Got a pair of them, and it was the best $80 I've ever spent. Used to get terribly sore in the hammys/quads/groin after footy, but not once have I ever pulled up sore after wearing them.

I was pretty skeptical when I bought them. The company talks them up so bloody much, and it is very hard to believe that a pair of tight shorts can really do all those things...but whatever it is the company is trying to say is true!

The main thing I am worried about it how long they'll last. I've had mine for about 3 months (wearing them twice a week at training and playing two games most weeks) and while they are still doing the job fine, I don't think they are as tight as they used to be. And I don't particularly want to spend $80 every 4 or 5 months to replace them.

The main point is - They are great! Don't get put off by the price.

i got a pair of the shorts for soccer and they are great.

dont get as sore after games and find i can run out games better by wearing them.

Long Skins are better because if you get a lot of calf, knee or other injuries it protects you from getting injured.

SKINS are very good :thumbsu:. While it may seem a lot to pay for just a set of tights, out of all the tights I've tried they are clearly the best when it comes to the "compression" effect. I also have a couple of pairs of the budget K-mart brand ones (think they're called Torpedo EvoTec?), the compression effect isn't as strong as SKINS but not bad for the price you pay (I got the long tights for $30 on sale), I normally wear them if my SKINS are in the wash and they do the job pretty well.

I used to have big problems with one of my quads after a bit of excercise.

Picked up a pair about six months ago. Since then the pain isn't anywhere near what it used to be.

I accidently ripped a whole in my skins so i got a pair of the KMART ones until i had enough money to buy the skins again, not bad for the price.
