How long have you supported the Crows?
Since they joined the AFL in 1991.
What made you barrack for the Crows?
They were the first SA team in the AFL, and my family was Glenelg supporters, so we just hated Port, in the AFL and SANFL. And we had McLeod.
What is your memory of watching your first Crows game?
I can't remember watching my first Crows game, so the first one I remember is the 1993 Preliminary Final, which we unfortunately lost. I can remember thinking to myself that we were going to win the Grand Final, because of the lead at half-time. Everyone was really happy in our house, and then as soon as the game finished my Dad turned off the TV and went out to make dinner.
What is your favourite Crows game and why?
All of the games Hayden Skipworth has played, because he's my favourite player, and of course the two Grand Finals.
Who is your favourite past and present Crows player and why?
Hayden Skipworth, because when he first came to the club I just remember liking him straight away, and then I saw him play at the Eagles and I just think he's really talented. Also, when I met him at Crows training in the pre-season, he was just so nice, he seems like a nice person.
What were you doing on the days the Crows won their two premierships?
We had a party at our house for both of them, and family and friends were invited. I remember saying in 1997 and 1998 that Macca would win the Norm Smith. They were great days.
What makes the Crows different to other AFL clubs?
Better players, better colours, better staff, just better EVERYTHING and we have Hayden Skipworth!
What opposition side do you love to see the Crows beat and why?
I like seeing us beat Port the most, but beating any side is great, especially when we THRASH them!
Your thoughts on the future of the club.
I think we can win another premiership in the not-too-distant future, and after that I see us being a strong force in the AFL for many years to come! And (hopefully) I can see Skippy staying with us for another 10+ years and winning a Club Champion! Go Crows!
