Nup - serious belief based on information garnered months ago. The demise of jogger occurred soon after the claret 'n stouts announced their re-vamped coaching staff.
Consistent with my view that all serious senior coaches should steer clear of Big Footy. As for reserve coaches.....that's an entirely different story....

Good work Scribe. Comfort of anonymity perhaps...my main point though, in case it was missed, was that for a guy with seemingly so much time on his hands and such a fascination with all things VAFA, it seems you are a way off the mark alot with your information.

That, whoever you are Tutto, was sensational. Just think, Xavier charges 8K a year more than SKC do and they still cant get into the top half a dozen APS schools academically. SKC, 4 years in a row trouncing Xavier in VCE, which normally leads to a quality University and business success.
Hopefully one day the floggers on this forum who claim to be Old Xavs guys will realise that there is more to life than Amateur football. Give me a great education anyday.

Just think all those lovely facilities stkevin's waste money maintaining, to breed B grade footballers that are more interested in getting a good education Rip up the cricket pitches, basketball courts and footy grounds lets build more libraries so we can produce a new revenge of the nerds movie.

Accuracy was never one of Scribes strong points. Don't forget we are talking about a guy who wrote an article about the 2006 c Section GF (one of the greats by the way) that had so many errors in it it was in fact a piece of fiction.

Correct.

Very old example, but I wasn't able to attend that game due to personal family commmitments and had to write a review based on (very scant, post-GF) information received from the competing clubs. If I ever received remuneration from the VAFA for writing columns, perhaps I could have justified leaving my brother's ordination and my mother-in-law's birthday celebrations in order to watch that game. The fact they both fell on the C grade GF day was beyond my control. Still, if you feel it appropriate to bring that old chestnut up again - so be it.

Clearly, I'm also a very ordinary bloke, player, coach and judge. Oh well, guess that means there's plenty of room for improvement then eh?
