Am looking at installing skype some time in the next few days.

has anyone hear got it or use it?? are there any hidden costs as some of the calling rates just seem to good to be true...

We have been using Skype for over 2 years. Excellent program. Especially for family and friends overseas. costs nothing . You can pm if you want anything more.

Clear as a bell. I speak to family overseas all the time on it. Saves my phone bill so much.

Calling rates are awesome for fixed phone calls, takes ages to run out my credit. You can get a skypein number as well.

skype is awesome... cheap, easy, crystal clear...

if your family and friends have a pc, u both use it for free...

i also use it for all my international and interstate calls... dont even use my home phone anymore...

Yep Im a skype man to, Dont have very good phone were i live but skype does the job just find and very very cheap.

Also i have a external phone insted of a Mic, works very well, and the skype also works on my laptop with the same number so if i go away it easy to take with.

Let me chat to friends and family when i was living overseas. Its free calls PC to PC. great program.

Yep its pretty amazing

One of those things where you cant belive everybody in the world doesn't have one, as you've had it for years and years and then all of a sudden people know about it and everybody in the world has one.

Soon there will be a crazy skype craze happening. Just imagine if everybody used it instead of a telephone.

Yep...Skype is excellent. It's free PC to PC, but you can purchase credit to call landlines and mobiles. I've also got a SkypeIn number for my account. It's a Melbourne metro number, so people can call me from their home phones for just the cost of a local call.

Gets updated with new stuff fairly frequently too
