-1st Half, Awesome!!
-Callan Ward, big chance for a rising star nom this week
-Gia, classy and creative
-Defence, very good today apart from Hall kicking 6
-Hahn, starting to really work back into good form
-Pressure and attack on the ball in the 1st half was top shelf

SLEDGES

-2nd half, really took the foot off the pedal..could have been a big percentage boost
-Griffen, please lift!! you are so much better than what you are offering atm
-Umpires, for paying soft as butter free kicks both ways
 
Slaps
Accuracy: Scoreboard pressure counts for so much, was a big reason we were a big success last year, and was the reason the contest was over by half time today.
Harbrow and Tiller: Particularly Harbrow gave us plenty of run and rebound, but Tiller was prepared to try and do so as well despite playing on a quality opponent, so kudos to him. For fringe players it must be mighty tempting just to stop your own player and give nothing the other way.
Gia and Higgins: Class in attack - it was like the Johnno and Aka show from last week, but a generation younger.
Boyd, Cross, Picken, Mince, Huddo: The boys were pretty bloody tough today, out muscled the swans at the stoppages, great work.
Hargrave: Gee we missed him over the last couple of weeks.

Sledges
**** it, 40 point win away from home, who can blame them for taking the foot off the pedal.
 
Slaps
- Dale Morris' work against O'Loughlin.
- Picken working his *** off.
- Jarrad Harbrow's awesome game.
- The second half of the 1st quarter and the entire 2nd quarter.
- Our entire midfield being hard and tough.
- Gia, Higgins, Welsh all doing brilliant up forward.

Sledges
- Can't really see the point in putting anything here. As the above poster said, 40pts away from home against a tough side, can't see anything wrong.
 
Slaps:
- Harbrow, Tiller and Ward had excellent games.
- FINALLY playing hard, ferocious football!
- Accurate Goalkicking
- Tried very hard! Great effort!

Sledges:
- Second Half. This could become a huge problem, we don't want to be chokers, I know Sydney is a hard team to shut down but that's one of the things I think we need to focus on.

Slaps:
- Cal Ward. Best game he's played, very impressive.
- Higgo...to play like that after being under an injury cloud is mighty impressive.
- Ferocity in the first half. I was worried in the opening minutes, because Sydney were getting the stoppages which they like, but we were able to pressure them enough at those stoppages to beat them.
- Hudson and Minno did well against Jolly.
- Welsh showed that having someone stay in the forward line does result in goals.
- Johnno and Aker's limited influence in a game we won by 40points

Sledges:
- still havn't scored a goal in the opening 5minutes of games. 0.12 I believe it is now. Obviously didn't matter by the end of the game, but it would be a nice thing to turn around.

-being able to kick a big score with Aker or Johnno kicking goals
-our leading and kicking to position in the first half
-Picken and Ward - played tough against tough opposition
-Morris - bounced back after last week


sledges

-kicking up the same wing in the last qtr every single play
 
Lake great.
Morris excellent.
Higgins great. whatever jabs he had, keep havin them!
Ward 1st half was great, but you can't be nominated for NRS award if you have played more than 10 games Dogma.

only applies if you played more than 10 games the previous year..Ward played 6 last season. He is eligible though i think Taylor Walker may have it this week
