What a great concert!!!
Awesome!!
First was Frankenbok, who put on a real good show. Thankfully they didnt play "Dont Call Me Baby". They are a lot better live than on cd not to mention a lot heavier.
After a 25 minute break, the main reason i went came on stage...Machine Head. They were nothing short of brilliant.
They played: Desire to Fire, Take My Scars, Blood Sweat The Tears, Ten Ton Hammer, Old, Bulldozer, Davidian and Nothing Left.
I got to hold onto Robbs leg as he stood on the cage which seperates the crowd. He also said they are planning their own headlining tour next year for Australia (please god!!)
Slayer - ive never really heard much of their stuff, but they put on a great show. Went for about 80-85 minutes....really thrashy and played all the songs i knew. Everyone seemed to get into Machine Head more...most people just stood there and nodded their heads for Slayer.
All round it was a fantastic night...Machine Head was just awesome!!
