slow starting players

Who are some players who you believe will go down in value at the start of the year, preferably players who are good and may just be coming off injuries or notoriously are slow starters and not crap players who will only get worse.

Paul Chapman is one who I believe will lose some value before having a massive second half to the year.

Anyone else?

Nothing to suggest he will start slowly but he will need around 120 per game to keep his average up so one bad game and he could drop 30-40k.

True but the likes of Dal Santo are unlikely to fall by much more than that. In my opinion, if you want them in your side, pick them to begin with. Better than using up a trade.

Dal Santo is not in my side this time around as i've gone expensive elsewhere, but hes a great SC player.

Just checked on footywire and noticed that Dal Santo really did struggle against the swans in 2007. Wonder if its worth trading for him, would be a huge risk but could pay off

Where'd you find his scores?, i could only find his stats. He picked up 16 and 13 touches in each game. To pick up 120 odd points with those stats i guess he must be quite reliable

Totally agree with you on that one. Doesn't matter which player they are, if they're a gun you get them into your team. Depending on resources you may never have the money to upgrade to a Dal Santo during they year, that's why I'm getting him from the start.

Too true, I had him in both (as captain in SC) and every week I'd think... ahhh only 14 disposals....go look at his SC score and it's like 129.

I don't have him this year
