Hey Everyone,
Just thought I would take a second to say a quick farewell for a few months.
I've quit my job here in London to head off and do some volunteer work in Madagascar for just under 4 months. While out there I will primarily be helping with reef monitoring and fish quota surveys in the mornings before heading to the local health centre and school's to help out and teach English to the kids. I've been lucky enough to do more than the average person travelwise and think it is good karma to give something back, so this is my effort.
If anyone has an interest in marine conservation and you want to know more, there is a blog for with some news of where I will be at http://blog.blueventures.org/category/madagascar/ and more general information at www.blueventures.org
I've got my blue and white Roo's water resistant footy in the backpack and will be keeping an eye out for the next Majak Daw!!
I look forward to seeing news in mid May for the first time in 12 weeks to find us with more wins than losses, Tarrant having played every game, Lachie having produced some freakish/insane highlight, Boomer running the length of the ground and not hitting the post, Atley going solid......the list could go on and on....
Anyway, take care everyone and see you soon.
Go Roos!
