How do you figure that? He has 30 players in his squad. And the system won't accept any teams that don't have 30 players in their squad. Are you saying that he added the 30th player last week to make his team eligible to compete for round 6?

He obviously didn't score anything for the first 5 rounds because his overall average is only 404. His current team value is ridiculous though: $10,291,700 Doesn't the weekly comp impose any salary cap?

That had to be a hack. Even with premiums going down in price, no way you could fit that in the salary cap.


What it does show is that by years end we will have to be scoring 2400 to be competitive.

Most teams will look pretty close to that although i still doubt you could fit 22 premiums because I've already burnt trades covering injuries.

But no doubt a score of 2100 will not be enough. This round was high scoring by i moved up a lot with 2177. By round 15 onwards, anything short of 2200 will be a let down and it is proved by this team

geez talk about a freak week. I reckon the team that won is actually pretty average. No way I'd tip that to score 2400+. I reckon most teams I've seen that struggled to score past 2100 this week crap all over that.

To think the team posted in the OP could not beat it is funny. DT is very interesting this year...I'm not sure I like it.

You mean you have no faith in the same programming gurus, that after 5 years *still* haven't fixed the '0' point playing bug?

I'm amazed that they didn't leave the team in, on the basis that they are too incompetent to fix blatant errors. (Edit: Which is the same basis they used for the '0' point bug.)

Not going to complain about that as it worked in my favour with Harvey But yeah, their incompetence is laughable.

YES this certainly makes sense ...

Last season I used one of the less supported Dream Team engines to experiment and follow the form of fringe players, you could use unlimited trades on that site though with a penalty to scores (which was irrelevant) You could load your team up with rookies and keep trading in new rookies week by week, in the process you kept building up your teams value ... then all at once you could trade out all of your players and buy the top premiums on form.

Again let me say my purpose was only to follow form but I ended up with a team that finished in the top 12 of their weekly scorers in 4 or the last 6 weeks.

I don't think we need worry about hacking stuffing up our fun and ... realistically ... with 306,000 players the chance of actually winning a weekly with this system are pretty remote.

That is actually my mates dreamteam, what he did by mistake was enter his team in 2 leagues under 2 email logins not knowing that you could actually enter 3 leagues under 1 email login... he since requested one of his entries be frozen

Leagues really should be ranked on total points IMO.
