Soccer Anyone?

Just won a cool $200 off of a $20 bet.

Opening round of Uefa came up easy. Man Utd, Bayern, Juventus, Chelsea, Inter, and someone else...can't remember who...in one multi made for some very juicy odds.

Inter was the best bet. With no one giving them a chance their odds were around the $3.50 - $4.00 mark depending on where you looked. After watching Arsenal only manage a draw against Portsmouth i was severely doubting th credibility of their defense. And it paid off with a 3-0 romping...

Anyone else intersted in talking soccer bets or listening to tips?

i bet on soccer a little bit, just for an interest really because to me its not the best sport to bet on.

Goals are so hard, that often results dont reflect the game, or form leading in etc.

Ie on your collect - Juve could easily have draw with Gala, Bayern from reports would be extremely happy with that result in the end, and from highlights chelsea werent exactly inspiring and could easily have shared the points.

Good collect for ya, nice odds but not something i woulda done. If it was me, really confident on Inter, I would have loaded up on them, and thats it. Adding favourites in a parlay for value is fine, however Id kick myself for a month if one of my "certainties" slipped, and my value bet got up.

Had $100 on Milan ($11) last season to win the CL (same also on Real and Juve). Nearly made up for me dropping $500 on each of Inter and Milan to win the UEFA cup a couple seasons ago at around $10 odds each. Both got knocked out in the semis.

I'm also a huge fan of betting on European soccer. I especially like the asian handicap betting that is available from certain bookies.. just pick which side of the line you want to bet on.

It's hugely popular here in Singapore with huge amounts bet on all games in the EPL. Mostly with illegal bookies
