Last night, the Socceroos beat Mexico 2 - 0 in their opening Confederations Cup match in Korea. It's the second time the Socceroos have beaten Mexico in the Confederations Cup, the last time was 3 -1 to us back in '97.
Tomorrow night we're up against 'Les Bleus' France (the World and European Champs) and then co-hosts Korea.
Hopefully we'll put in a good show in our remaining matches and make it to the semi-finals.
Hopefully the Confederations Cup will prove to be a good warm-up for our upcoming challenge to make the 2002 World Cup.

Yea great win for the boys.....

Skoko's goal was excellent, and Paul Okon is in prime form

A win against france is doubtful, but i think we are a good hance to make the semi finals when we play Sth Korea, who prob will lose all 3 games.

All the scores from the first games
AU'S GROUP
Sth Korea 0 - 5 France
Australia 2 - 0 Mexico

OTHER GROUP
Japan 3 - 0 Canada
Brazil 2 - 0 Cameroon

My tips
SEMI FINALS WILL BE
Australia vs Brazil
France vs Cameroon

And a Brazil vs France Final
;)

And lets all hope next wednesday the mighty greeks thrash the sh*t outta England!

Reports outta Korea are that the French see us as the weakest team in the group and are gonna make a lot of changes to their lineup. I hope they do take us lightly cause i think we're a good chance to pinch at least a draw. With Emerton back along with Moore and maybe Aloisi we could have close to our best team available on the park, let's hope they do us proud tonight.
And QT u want the greeks to thrash England? HA HA
Lucky if England let them get within 4 goals.

Mate, 70 000 english haters in Athens, the Pommes will be trembling when they step out!. Mahlas bags a hatrick and Dabizas scores a 90 minute header to make it 4-1 Greece. :)

R.I.S (REST IN SH*T) ENGLAND! :D :D

P.s sorry mate, i just get a bit excited when greece have a world cup qualifier coming up!;)
