Not sure how or where, but i have picked up 1of these in the last couple of days and have tried to rid my sytsem of it using vet, but to no avail.
The tojan is listed as "JS CCS popup B"
Vet is able to identify and delete it at ........C:/windows/web win.def js ccs popup.B trojan and .......C:windows/deault.css js.css popup B trojan.
However when i reboot and do another vet check it once again identifies it and says it has been deleted.
It seems to be affecting many of the programs im running + when i browse the internet.......nothing serious yet but enough to give methe Sh*ts.
It"s also hijacked my homepage as the default and i have tried the usual method of reseting it but only to find that it's still there as my default.
Has anyone encounted this particular trojan or varient and what steps could i take to rid myself of it. I am assuming that my antivirus software is not enough kill it off and that i need some other program or method to delete it.
Any help would be appreciated but if possible, nothing to technical please .
