Some info on Ash Eames

Just thought i'd provide some info on Ash Eames who has been asked by EFC to do a pre season.

Ash Eames is a ruckman originally from Barnawartha/ North Albury. Dominated for North Albury whilst he was there and won there B & F in 04. Had a very good game against Bendigo at Springvale (He thrashed Hille and Allan in the centre and around the ground),was very impressive. Have seen him play live for Barney, Nth Albury and Springvale, and i have always rated him. Big and strong yet is a good tap ruckman. The real deal.
Would be touching 26 but is a ready made AFL ruckman. Might explain why St Kilda have been pestering him.
Have a read of the links below, tells a bit more about the type of player he is. I for one would be absolutely rapt if we picked him up.

That would be great if he is as good as you say. I think Hille is better as a tall forward type player rather then a ruckman, so that could leave laycock and eames and maybe cartledge to stay in the ruck.

This guy is a massive unit. He won some type of "Worlds strongest man" comp a couple of years back I heard. Great work ethic and strong as an ox.

He was outstanding for Springvale this year.

Not the most co-ordinated big man around but when you are looking at a player with his size you aren't looking for a Jeff White type.

Personally I hope the Saints still have their eye on him.
