Dont forget Heath Scotland. Take away the couple of marks he put down and he had a very good game also.
was on his haunches in the 1st qtr. Look I want Heath to be in our top 5 every game but I am not sure if he has it in hi. Brave yes but if his skills and endurance fade.....

I've noticed ever since Scotland took that hit against Collingwood he's been fumbling the ball something shocking. It was first really noticeable against St Kilda last year which I hoped was just a one off while he got his confidence back but it's still happening. Really hope he can fix it soon because he is a very damaging player. Would also like to see him given more of a go across half forward this year.

Love robbo's style but I think ratten is going to slowly kill this kids game. A few times it looked like robbo wanted to go but stopped and kicked or handballed sideways. Please ratts let this kid loose.

Could be another example of Sydney's ultra flooding and unsociable football, meaning when he looked ahead all he saw was Swans players. Not meaning you but I don't think enough posters have taken this into account when reviewing the game.

I watched the game again, and this time with the volume set to zero so I didn't have to hear the demented commentators drone on and on and on about pointless points. I find listening to the media clowns a distraction.

Robbo was probably our best, and easily our best in the first 1/2. His attack on the footy was awesome. He's a straight-line footballer, and also clever. Reads the play very well, and is decisive and attacking with the options he chooses. His skill execution is surprisingly good, with nice distance and penetration on his kicking. He could be awesome this year. Thought he was OK last year, but seems to burn himself out by 3/4 time in a few games.

The others who impressed were Joey Anderson and Browne. Anderson had a crap 2009, and totally lost his confidence after being out with some injuries. Starting to show a bit of confidence, and a lot of pace and aggression, which was great to see. Remember him playing a few very good games in 2008. He'll be a real asset if he can get it together in 2010.

Browne was another of the few who attacked the footy with attitude. Liked the way he went about it. Has nice skills as well, and looks to be pushing for a spot as a small defender or defensive midfielder.

AS mentioned by others, Bower really is becoming an awesome KP defender.

:)

You do bring up a good point, it is something i often forget about and I'm hoping you are right. Hoping we see some more positive signs this friday..

Robbo had no problem hitting the ground running after pulling in that screamer in the praccie match. I don't think much will stifle Robbo's self-expression :)

Mucho disagreement. Trying to bring some composure to the kids game is what will make a player of him.

Main concern i had about robbo after last year was whether he had the frame (body type) capable of really making it in the afl.

But seeing how big and strong he is at the start of this year I have no concerns at all about this kid.

He could be our Max Rooke type player but with more pace, dash and disposal skills. By that i mean just the guy you know will die for the ball and just do his job week in and week out with no fuss or fan fare but being an integral part of every blues victory for years to come.

Gee its good when the fringe/younger blokes have to fight for positions in this team.
