What is the criteria in play? Is it pretty boys who go hard? Whippets who throw their head over the ball?

Kade Simpson is a gutsy player but hardly a physical beast. Mostly an outside player not really known for his contested ability. Does he fit the bill simply for being small and not squibbing marking contests?

Daniel Kerr was small for a midfielder but had zero regard for his own safety and threw himself into packs. Does he fit the bill for being a kamikaze midget?

I think players like Matt de Boer (already nominated) fit the bill. Average height/weight for an AFL player and looks like a pretty boy but is (was) a tackling machine.

I'm not sure if he suits the criteria, but surely from Port it's Darcy Byrne-Jones. He's 180cm and wouldn't be more than 75-80kg. He's a pacy half-back flanker yet he hits the ball hard, tackles hard, chases hard, and is generally a very aggressive player in the contest for someone of his size.
