Melbourne were driving forward to the right of screen (city end, I believe) and there was a pack forming... may have been late 2nd quarter. Heath Shaw ended up being the only man to get his hands to the ball, with a few players (Neitz...) coming up from behind but not making the contest, or body contact. I could have sworn I saw Shaw duck his head, anyone else see this?

He had uncharacteristically dropped some of his trade"marks" earlier on, and after the "incident" his game improved, I thought

But am I just imagining things???

Yes H.Shaw did do it. H.Shaw is still a couragous and tough player.

Personally I've never understood the obsession with players ducking their head in like a turtle when the pack of players are coming in from behind. Surely the fact that they are going back with the flight shows they are couragous enough, but to leave your head exposed is IMO stupid.

You can do that all you like, if you take the mark... lucky it went relatively unnoticed I think...

Triple M made a big deal out of it. He almost took the mark, and if he did it would have been lauded as a very courageous effort, oh well.
