Icecream Hands would have to be one of the worst names for a band I've ever heard, sounds like the title of a children's book.

A tad early for an update as theres only 4 sets of votes in including mine. But I will say that one song has gotten off to a flying start, has almost hit 20 votes and is 9 ahead of second place.

Wow, I wasn't expecting to win that easily.

Never heard that term even when I was living in England and it still seems like a daft name for a band regardless.

Great name for a band. Even if you don't know what it means, it stands out and it's memorable, which is the whole idea really.
(Ironic that ol' ice cream hands himself, Plugger doesn't like it... )

I saw them a few times around town back in the day. Underrated. They should've been bigger. The Australian music biz & media really sucked arse when it came to promoting our best indie/alt bands in the 80s and early 90s

Chuck is one of the nicest fellas you'd ever meet. Great guy. Saw him playing a folky solo set a while back at the Standard Hotel

I could've nommed The Panics for this theme, they were influenced by one of my favourite bands The Church and supported them on one of their tours.



The Panics is a much better name for a band than Icecream Hands, much better band too.

Going onto an opposition team board to gloat after your team beats them is a surefire way to end up red, don't understand why anyone would do that unless they wanted to get banned.

You won't see me going on the West Coast board to gloat after we beat them tonight.
