You can make me feel old when you dismiss the classic bands I love from the past and then canonise the rap superstars in your next paragraph. You have a dogmatic way of expressing your opinions, but I’m the same, so it’s a hypocritical of me to say that you’re arrogant & opinionated.

No harm meant by it. I was being a douche. It just shits me when people online generalise about music fanbases or football fanbases as “insufferable” as though we’re all separate species when in fact, we’re all alike.

I wouldn’t have a problem with someone saying “football fans are insufferable the way they act like little children and blame the umps when their teams loses” or “concert goers these days are insufferable the way they hold their phones up and block my view filming something which should be be enjoyed right now”

Those are valid generalisations to make. But I don’t see the validity in singling out Midnight Oil fans or Fall Out Boy fans or Queen fans as though they’re all alike and exhibit uniquely annoying behaviours.
