Plugger35 B.E.P - Shut Up missed out by the tiniest of margins. Wanted to squeeze it in.

I picked my song because I love it, esp the video, but the lyrics are terrible English. Nina wrote the song herself and yeah... clearly she didn't get it checked over by anybody lol.

'I'm a warrior, oximated' like... what does that even mean? I don't know LOL

Nu Flow is a blast from the past which I completely forgot about.

I don't actually think I've heard it anywhere since it was big up until this round, and that was over 20 years ago.

I was partly inspired to nom King Gizz because I saw them last week at the Opera House with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Played their latest album in full then a collection of songs from their catalog.

It was phenomenal, they've certainly earned their reputation as a great live act.

That's a good point actually mate. Can't remember the last time I would've heard it anywhere without specifically having gone looking for it to listen to. Must've been thrown on the scrapheap once the usual 'run' had concluded.

Mixing it up again. Good round for it.

Tom Waits my last nom was a tough one. Ypu either love or hate him.
I can appreciate him as a songwriter (despite you nomming him in that round), but I can't get past his voice.

I'm ambivalent to his early stuff when he was a passable (albeit unremarkable) singer.
It's only once he realised he wasn't anything special and adopted the ridiculous affectation of a 'Drunken stroke victim' to appear edgy and appeal to the feeble-minded that he shits me up the wall.

Hes definitely for the music hipsters. Its all about the niche appeal
