I found Halocraft IO not long ago. It's in my liked list with 6 other songs. Didn't put it into a playlist though.

Agree partly but tie breaker COULD also come from countback just like the winner. Sometimes rounds bring about songs with significant personal meaning. Nobody wants to be shat on for a song that has personal and emotional significance. If we put this to a vote it’s a no from me ie keep the BM . For multiple reasons - it provides incentive to listen to even the most horrible seeming track until the end to see if it remains bad , it serves as a tiebreaker and no Christmas is complete without a grinch. It can be renamed Grinch for the round
I’ve had far more Billies over my years in the sc than wins and also more Billie’s than probability etc and I still disagree. Countback just isn’t as effective. It would result in too many ties . Almost all my nominations have a significance . But it’s easy enough to accept that people simply don’t share the same taste. Music taste is subjective. It being personal and emotional isn’t a reason to not judge it. At least this time we released links.Agree partly but tie breaker COULD also come from countback just like the winner. I don't disagree. The billy itself isn't necessarily the issue, it's the trashing of songs afterward. Something I took on board some time ago. If I don't like a song, I'll state what I didn't like about it, or what didn't resonate with me, or as in the case of last round I didn't say anything at all for a song I didn't get at all because it sounded like every other one of their songs. I know a song a while back that got trashed the **** out of and it had particular significance to the person who nominated it.I’ve had far more Billies over my years in the sc than wins and also more Billie’s than wins etc and I still disagree. Well the problem isn’t the billy then is it?I don't disagree. The billy itself isn't necessarily the issue, it's the trashing of songs afterward. Something I took on board some time ago. So by that logic if the receiver voted for the giver it’s worth half votes? If the receiver billies the giver, it should be worth double billies.
Surely the logic would be double votes. So by that logic if the receiver voted for the giver it’s worth half votes?
Yeah, not in favour of either scenario
If the receiver billies the giver, it should be worth double billies.
My logic was that votes that are being gifted are worth less than a regular round . But I still disagree with your way as well as mine and the original suggestion.Surely the logic would be double votes.
We could do the sixth favourite instead of the worst, would work out just as well as a tie breaker. Sure it’s all just personal taste but who wants to hear that in everyone’s personal opinions a song you love is the worst on the list?Well the problem isn’t the billy then is it?
And I don’t see people trashing songs either at the time or afterwards
If you’re citing an example from a while back as an example I have to conclude it’s not a regular issue
I also don’t see how ditching the billy would stop people from trashing songs
If anything I don’t trash songs but not having the outlet to say which song got my Billy (if none exists) would lead to me effectively beginning to trash my least favourite songs
They are putting some cash behind Geese here. Was in Angel Station yesterday and every poster on way to platforms was promoting the new album.Ignoring that I’ve Billied them a couple of times, Royel Otis has appeared in a BBC best new acts for 2026 list. Could be a sign they’ll break through more in Europe / US next year Loonerty MC Bad Genius !

It isn’t quite. We could do the sixth favourite instead of the worst, would work out just as well as a tie breaker. Sure it’s all just personal taste but who wants to hear that in everyone’s personal opinions a song you love is the worst on the list?
Well I've been busy.I don’t see people trashing songs either at the time or afterwards
What did you mean by 'It isn’t quite.'?It isn’t quite.
And I’m fine with hearing that a song I love is someone else’s worst. And that’s for the reason you said - it’s all personal taste anyway. Plus the song contest taste isn’t my demographic so I can’t expect it to be my musical demographic either
