Sony Ericsson XPeria x10

Interested to know if any1 holds one of these phones atm? What are te pros and cons? Played with it briefly in the Telstra Shop today and it looks like a pretty damn sexy phone, Sony Ericsson are usually pretty reliable

My wife recently got the mini version of this and she likes it. It has a keyboard, instead of touch screen, which is what she was after.

The only negative things she has found is sometimes the touch screen doesn't work (have to push really hard for it to recognise what you are trying to do) and the fact it uses andriod app's which there aren't anywhere near as many as the apple app's.

Other than that she likes it.

Again though this is for the "mini" version of the phone.

Picked up one today it's a pretty sweet phone. First time on Android, impressed.

Pity they are only getting 2.1 shortly, and it might be a very long wait for 2.2.

I got mine a couple of months ago and I'm loving it so far. I'm not that fussed about waiting for the 2.1 update as long as they don't delay it again. When I got it, the battery life was very poor, like 1 day poor. But after a software update it lasts about 4-5 days depending on how much I use it (sometimes a fair bit). Guess one bad thing (besides only running 1.6) is the size of it. It's pretty damn massive but hey, guess that's what happens when the screen is 4"

For the price I'd go a Samsung Galaxy. Xperia has no multi touch which isn't the worst thing, but yeah imo Galaxy is better.
