I will leave the vilifying comments to you. :thumbsu:
white breadhttp://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wrader/slang/w.html adj 1. bland, uninspired, boring, or insipid. Especially used to describe "middle-American" mores, people, etc. Derogatory description of things that are naively wholesome, suburban, and middle class.

Little touchy perhaps?

and anyone who goes for those three teams deserves it :p

oh, and, McRoberts is gaaawwwn.

Now MP, you've got noone to blame but yourself! :p

The thread title made it clear there was nothing to see. It was simply the Hibbert BF Defence Research Facility testing a weapon. I can report that the test was a success but am not at liberty to say anything further.

It's allright, toots sucked up to them on Friday night. Right Toots?

Now I'm really in strife :)

Well at least he turned up for drinks at half time.........unlike pretty much everyone else.

Mind you it was more disappointing back at the club after the game where there was no after match function..........

At least things get back to normal this week with the whole team (and officials) coming back to Tracy Village after the match and we expect to see the club packed with Port supporters.

The club is training at Marrara from 5:00pm Friday night followed by a govt reception in the members bar area (Kantilla's) with those officially registered with the PAFC Top End Supporters Group receiving invites.

I will have more details in the Supporter Group Thread on our main board later today but I can say we are very happy with the plans for the weekend and the effort the club is putting in to promote itself whilst here...........stay tuned for more details.

That's excellent news DK. I assume from your approval that the club will also be selling merchandise?

Let's hope the club gets the extra members you have been pleading with them to go out and make the effort to recruit.

yes the club is bringing up merchandise and a membership stand that will be at the game and back at Tracy Village after the match.

The club won't get the numbers I have been talking about this weekend in memberships but they will certainly see the amount of support they do have here in the Top End.

What they need to look at are the costs/benefits of the packages as the Vic and SA Country membership packages are far better value for money compared to the Interstate packages:-

I might start another thread next week after talking to a few people over the weekend like I did when I was in Adelaide last week...........

One idea was to change the Out of SA membership to around $50 and remove the free game at AAMI as that would then put it's actual value in line with the SA Country and Vic memberships who have much better 'PLUS' value.

We'll talk about this more next week on the main board.

Is there a bus again? :thumbsu:

Is there a bus again? :thumbsu:

Unfortunately not as we have only just getting things confirmed today and it was too late to get a bus booked at a reasonable price.

Tomorrow afternoon at training and the govt reception afterwards we can talk a bit about this and perhaps book something with a mini bus co.

The full details of what's on will be posted here early tomorrow..........

I received one of those invites in the mail today but where was the plane ticket?
