Sorting Desktop Icons

I have stumbled across Stardocks Fences and I think it is absolutely brilliant for itemising my desktop icons.

However, does anyone know whether Windows 7 has something similar built in it?

No, Windows doesn't have anything like that built in.

Windows encourages less icons on the desktop, thats why they introduced the new taskbar.

Yeah I wouldn't consider myself a huge icon horder but for what I have it's pretty handy.

By the way, the new Windows Taskbar is fantastic, second only to the W7 snap screen
