As im sitting here feeling rather sore and sorry for myself with a swollen ankle all strapped up from Netball last night, I was wondering who else on BF has hurt them self running around a court, oval or whatever?

Does Paper bleed when it gets cut? NO.

Case closed!

Some people just have no feelings when it comes to paper.

Paper gets torn in two, it gets cut, ripped, drawn on, gets hit with little hammers (print heads) all for your needs, yet you treat it with such contempt.

:p

Paper cuts are supposedly the worst type of cuts.

I don't think chainsaws were invented when someone came up with that.

Yeah and some people even blow their nose on it or wipe their bums with it!

But would paper bleed for me? NO NO NO. However, I bleed for paper - who respects who here?

The Ancient Chinese used to tie up people and give them tiny little cuts, not that disimilar to paper cuts, and then let them slowly bleed to death. I can see why paper cuts are so bad :)

Yes my History teacher when I was at school told me this. It was called Death by a Thousand Cuts. They used to wrap them up tightly in something like chicken wire and then where the skin protruded through the wire it would be slit.

Just thought I'd mention that you can get buried under paper if you've got the wrong job. Paperwork sucks.

Oh yeah, I suffered a bruised kidney and bowel this year playing footy. Missed eight weeks and now have to wear a kidney guard.

Paper wraps rock, rock blunts scissors, scissors cuts paper. Hard to tell which of the 3 is most dangerous.;)

Cut my knee open at a go-kart race meet at Pukapunial (sp?), was a real bitch too as I had to get driven for an hour to get to the hospital and then get about 12 stitches. This was on the Saturday (qualifying) so I missed race day, which at the time was the worst thing as far as I was concerned :D

i rolled my ankle about 2 months ago during netball and its still not 100% better. admittedly i kept playing as there was no one else on court, but its still not fixed up.

other than that, nothing apart from pulling a few muscles here and there during gymnastics.
