Split round = Disadvantage

I know it's great that we continue to draw the big games but the split round puts us at a major disadvantage for the following week.
We only get the six day break while Port get two weeks to rest and get players up to match fitness.
Same for Sydney, Dons and the Saints.
Scrap the split round and let's have a break (with the origin-please)

FMD, that's the least of our worries. Sinking into oblivion for the second successive year has nothing to do with one six break against a rested opponent. Still lacking pace and skill in the midfield and a ruckman will lose us a lot more games than the quirks of a draw rigged to prostitute our popularity.

How could you not enjoy watching the best of the best duke it out?
Problem is the players don't want to play unlike the NRL who realise it's an honour to represent your state.

yeah id love to see state of origin back....but it will never happen

i also dont think the split round is that big a disadvantage.....what Melbourne have copped is worse than what we have copped.....we get 6 day breaks all the time, why arent you complaining about those as well? im happy the way it is
