Sports Game - Possible Future Mode

I was thinking about an idea for sports game such as EA Cricket, AFL Live and all those types of games.

Its a mode where you control just ONE player.

So you can decide to take control of a superstar and see how long you can keep him up the top, or take control of young player and take him to the top.

Or you can even decide to take control of a player who isn't in the major league yet, and is still in the juniors and you have to get him drafted etc etc,.

I reckon it would add a pretty cool new dimension to sporting games.

Its pretty repetitive currently controlling the team, its a challenge for about 5 games then you dominate any game.

You can do this in NHL 2003, but I don't do it much, mainly because the camera views still follow the puck andyou can't tell where you are going. An interesting idea though for a football game.
