HIGHLIGHT Well how do you go past that great South Aussie James Bart what a amazing effort.
Blake Shin hopefully stays out of the spotlight for the wrong reasons now.
Big Mal great training effort in the end could have given up
Funny one this one but the non dominance of the big trainers Freedman and Hayes very quite by there standards.Excellent for racing
Over seas horses having a lead up run here 3 did it this year Geelong Cup form is strong
Samantha Miss big win lets hope she comes back

LOWLIGHT A.O'Brien i was expecting one of his horses to do that not all 3
Personally so close to 4 Quaddies 3 wins and a second 4 times

LOWLIGHT A.O'Brien i was expecting one of his horses to do that not all 3
Personally so close to 4 Quaddies 3 wins and a second 4 times

Can't go pass Bart and the way he got Viewed ready for the Cup after missing a run. For me it was even better after backing him.
Another highlight was the way the spring was ran, no falls, no horses hurt bad enough that they needed to be put down & every runner given every chance.

The lowlight I think theres 2
the first was the coolmore team, the utter lack of respect they showed us by doing what they did and then having the balls to act like it was nothing, I would loved to see have charges against them even if they didn't stick just to get up their goat.

The other low light was Connex on Derby & Oaks day, we are told to come by train, so we do and connex treats us like we're cattle.

A friend of mine used to go to the Carnival and fly home Oaks night he was saying if he still went he may have missed the plane home

Highlight
Seeing Clare Lindop show the boys how it's done on the rank outsider Rebel Raider.

Lowlight
Efficient going down after 52 weeks of preparation.

Great Spring overall.

Highlight
- Viewed winning Melbourne Cup at spectacular odds, adding another feather to Bart's already overloaded cap.
- Samantha Miss dominating in the Oaks with a massive amount of pressure on it's back since it was odds on.
- Maldivian winning Cox Plate, returning to his old form.
- All The Good winning at massive odds, adding another group win to master owner Shiek Mohammed's group of horses.

Lowlight
- After such an impressive trial run in the Caufield Cup, Mad Rush failed to live up to expectations in the Melbourne Cup.
- Seeing Weekend Hussler struggle in the Caufield Cup. Slurred his reputation a tad, he's a G1 horse there's no doubt about that.
- After being hyped up like the next big thing here in Australia, Septimus laughably fails in the Melbourne Cup. Although I found it funny, most punters did not.
- The media surrounding Apache Cat's first run back from a spell today unfortunately failed. A top class race horse, at such short odds today, unfortunately bundled out to finish 8th. Luckily my money wasn't on it.

Lowlight
- Seeing Weekend Hussler struggle in the Caufield Cup. Slurred his reputation a tad, he's a G1 horse there's no doubt about that.

In hindsight probably should've just been sent round in the cox plate...but i do agree, its now almost forgotten he has 7 group 1 wins, hes a champ for sure.

Lowlight= Emirates stakes day, should be named underage drinking day, it wasnt funny how many people under the age of 18 were drunk or being kicked out today.
