Just saw this game on Reddit. Don't play these kinda "deckbuilders" myself but some here might be interested?

I saw that this has just been released, and found a few people who think it's pretty great. It's got a launch sale down to $20 until the 21st. Has anyone here tried it?

Looks fun if you're a fan of roguelikes, which I am. Seems to use a lot of AI generated art which is not great, but it does appear to be made by a solo dev. Hopefully some early success will enable them to fund an art overhaul.

I've played it, it's fun takes a few goes to get used to how it works. Fast paced if you are into that sort of game. You switch between fictional and educational names. Educational is basically your player plays like X AFL Player.

Hmm, maybe about 6? Better recruits trait definitely helped

Once you realise how to build your squad it becomes easy. The hard part is lasting as long as you can in endless mode. I think i got 12 premierships in a row before the player pool weakened too much for me to keep up (only had rucks available to trade for)

EDIT: Should say it gets harder every new attempt (new game) as the game removes some of the special options EG only one game plan at the start instead of 2.

I managed to get 3 flags (one back to back pair) before the retirements hit and I was screwed.
I learnt that you can't play decelerate to sustain the team
and gutsy is good when you are getting crushed in national league

I've given this a go. I like the challenge to get a good team surviving through to National level but, while it has a decent foundation, I feel it's lacking a few things to keep me coming back to it.
