I can understand the temptation fearless, but the Saints have been poor so far and the Power were great last week. Even with Gehrig back in the side I can't see them getting over the top of Port. It's Wakelin's 250th too, even more incentive for Port Adelaide to fire up.
Port by 15.5+ or Port by 39+ would be better options and get some coin down on the Cornes brothers for most disposals.

Gehrig is what they need. Against Essendon last week the Saints were lost with no one to kick it in the 50 to while Riewoldt was out at 60.

Funny you say that. I was listening to Richard Champion on TabRadio the other morning and he seemed to think that the Saints were better without Gehrig in the side because he is too inconsistent and upsets the balance of the side. We've all seen Fraser kill it when he is switched on, but Champs is right in that if Gehrig doesn't get a touch early, he is gone for the whole game and is prone to committing undisciplined acts which deflate the side and often end up with him spending a stretch on the sidelines.
Port for mine, it good form with Lade dominating the ruck, Cornes x2 on fire, Burgoyne x2 on fire and the forward line of Ebert, White, Tredrea looking pretty potent. Tredrea did nothing last week but is now in his third game back from injury and with no Hudgton to keep him quiet, could be ready for a big one.

I was reading in the sun that the saints havent beaten port in a fair while, but of course it has to change sometime.

I can't remember the last time we beat Port...so nothing new. The closest we came was the 2004 PF...man what a chance we let slip there.

I told a mate to put money on the Power -13, he did so. I can't bet against my own team though.

I should of taken my own advice hey! Port easily past the 39 point barrier and Chad Cornes had 32 disposals to win the most disposals section. Anyone know what these two bets paid...I stayed away from all things punting on the weekend and just came in to check the thread and saw that for once I actually gave a reasonable tip hahahahaha!
